Did you know who has a better chance to get an ITA from Express Entry?

In 2023, a review of Canada's Express Entry system by Statistics Canada revealed that young professionals under 40, especially those in high-demand occupations, had a higher chance of selection. This system includes the Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, and Provincial Nominee Programs.

Occupations like software engineers, computer programmers, and information systems analysts were frequently invited across various programs. Financial auditors, dentists, and marketing professionals were also in demand.

CRS scores played a crucial role, with half of the candidates scoring between 451-500. Notably, a score above 600 often required a provincial nomination, contributing significantly to the maximum CRS points.

Provincially, Ontario led with 31,550 ITAs, followed by British Columbia, Alberta, and Nova Scotia. Most candidates selected were in their twenties and thirties, with fewer selections for those in their forties or older.
