The Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot: Home Support Stream (HCWP:HS) reached its 2025 cap at around 2:25 p.m. EDT on March 31, the same day it opened under the Workers in Canada Stream.
The Child Care stream also hit its cap the same afternoon. Online applications are now closed. This year’s cap was 2,750 applications, including 150 reserved for out-of-status workers. The stream is expected to reopen in 2026.
The government has not yet announced when the Applicants Not Working in Canada stream will open.
ICP Immigration Inc. confirms all client applications were submitted before the cap was reached.
