Canada has added education-related programs, such as Early Childhood Education and Teaching, to the list of PGWP-eligible fields of study and Express Entry category-based draws.
This means international students can complete a diploma or certificate in these programs, obtain a Post-Graduation Work Permit, gain Canadian work experience, and then qualify for Express Entry under the new education occupation category.
Example: A graduate of an Early Childhood Education diploma with one year of Canadian work experience can reach a CRS score of 499, well above the latest education draw cut-off of 479, making permanent residence within reach.
