3,500 ITAs in New Healthcare Express Entry Draw

IRCC issued 3,500 Invitations to Apply in a large category-based Express Entry draw for healthcare and social services candidates on November 14.

The minimum CRS score was 462, notably lower than the 533 requirement in the recent Canadian Experience Class round on November 12.

This draw targeted a wide range of occupations across healthcare, social services, diagnostics, therapy, and community support roles. Eligible occupations included physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, laboratory technologists, medical imaging specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and other regulated health and support professions.

So far in 2025, Canada has held 21 PNP draws, 12 CEC draws, seven French language draws, two education occupation draws, six healthcare and social services draws, and one trades draw. A total of 85,732 ITAs have been issued this year, following 98,903 ITAs in 2024. IRCC continues to rely heavily on targeted rounds as part of its category-based selection system.
