Candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 520 and had to create their Express Entry profile before July 15, 2025.
This draw breaks a long period of high cut-off scores, as the past five CEC rounds had consistently remained at 533 or 534. The December 10 draw marks a significant shift in selection trends and is a welcome development for in-Canada applicants.
The draw follows a year-high PNP round on December 8 and a major French-language proficiency draw on November 28. With today’s results, IRCC has issued 105,599 ITAs so far in 2025.
Express Entry activity this year has been dominated by PNP draws, followed by CEC and French-language proficiency categories.
